This anniversary edition is dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach. So it was a Bach-only program. Not very often performed here, the cantata, and especially Mr Ouatu's voice, made a great impression on me. "Magnificat" followed, and the conductor said that it's the first time they perform it with a children choir. It sounded fresh and glorious.

This recital was special twice. Because there are not too many cello recitals in Bucharest. There are some concerts for cello and orchestra from time to time. And secondly, because it was a special father-daughter bond. They performed with passion and love. And the audience rewarded them with lots of applauses. It's the third time I listen to Mischa Maisky live. And I really hope he comes back.
